The private balcony was lovely, but the room was noisy from traffic.

I stayed in the Deluxe King room and it was super cozy with a peaceful vibe. The bed was really comfy, perfect for a good night's sleep. Plus, there was a nice view of the wetlands from the window. They even left fresh cookies for us, which was a sweet touch. Just a heads-up, the street noise was a bit noticeable sometimes, so might want earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Couple getaway with charm

We really enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese hour every evening, it was such a nice surprise while relaxing in the beautifully decorated lounge. The staff was friendly, they even remembered my husband's birthday and brought us a sweet treat which made our stay feel special.

The Inn at Playa Del Rey offered a delightful experience with a lovely view of the wetlands and a comfortable room, but it was slightly disappointing to find that the happy hour snacks were pre-packaged due to compliance issues. Still, the breakfast and staff were amazing.
